How Trèpure Builds Beauty with Purpose

The journey to launching a beauty brand rarely begins in a laboratory. For Nesha Turley, it started at home—with a simple habit that many parents eventually adopt: reading the labels on everyday products. What she discovered was unsettling.

Products marketed as gentle enough for babies and families often contained ingredients she wasn’t comfortable using on the people she loved most. That moment of curiosity quickly evolved into a mission, one that would eventually become Trèpure, a clean beauty brand redefining everyday skincare through transparency, sustainability and uncompromising ingredient standards.

Turley’s background might seem unconventional for the beauty industry. Before becoming a founder, she spent years working in mergers and acquisitions banking while simultaneously building a second career as a certified Pilates instructor, a role she has held for more than 14 years. One profession sharpened her analytical thinking, while the other nurtured a deep appreciation for health, movement and wellbeing. Together, they laid the foundation for a business that would combine scientific precision with genuine care.

“My path into clean beauty wasn’t a straight line,” she said. “The real turning point came when I became a mother. Once I started reading ingredient labels on the wipes and personal care products we were using every day, I realised there was a gap between what products promised and what they actually contained.” That realisation became the driving force behind Trèpure.

Beyond the ‘Clean’ Label

The clean beauty movement has grown rapidly in recent years, but Turley believes the industry still struggles with one major issue: accountability. “There’s a lot of noise around words like ‘natural’ and ‘clean’,” she explained. “But there isn’t always transparency behind those claims.”

Rather than relying on marketing language, Trèpure was built around a simple philosophy: every ingredient must earn its place in every formulation. The brand’s growing collection—including botanical toner wipes, makeup remover wipes, natural deodorant wipes and baby wipes—is free from parabens, sulfates and triclosan while using biodegradable fibres designed to minimise environmental impact.

For Turley, clean beauty is never about following trends. It is about creating products that are both gentle and effective. After six years of research and product development, she and her team achieved what they originally set out to create: formulations that deliver high performance without compromising on ingredient integrity. “Clean has to work,” she said. “There’s no point creating a product that’s safe if it doesn’t perform.”

One of Trèpure’s greatest strengths lies behind the scenes. Unlike many beauty brands that outsource manufacturing, Trèpure oversees every stage of production within its own UAE manufacturing facility—from sourcing raw materials to packaging and final distribution.

That level of control allows the company to maintain the same quality standards throughout the entire production process. “Most brands lose visibility once manufacturing is outsourced,” Turley explained. “Because we manufacture everything ourselves, every batch reflects the standards we’ve established from the beginning. “For consumers, that translates into something increasingly valuable in today’s marketplace: trust.

Everyday Products That Matter

While premium skincare often dominates conversations around beauty innovation, Turley intentionally focused on a category many people overlook. Wipes. They’re used daily by adults, teenagers, children and babies. “These are products that spend direct time on our skin every single day. There really isn’t much room for compromise.” Her goal was simple: make safer choices easier for families without asking them to sacrifice convenience. That philosophy extends across the entire product range, ensuring every wipe meets the same formulation standards regardless of its purpose.

Although skincare needs naturally evolve with age, Turley believes one principle remains universal: healthy skin responds best to gentle care. Teenagers often experience heightened sensitivity and hormonal changes, making overly aggressive skincare unnecessary. Adults may have different concerns, but they too benefit from formulations that protect rather than strip the skin.

“Our products are designed around that shared need for gentleness,” she explained. This commitment is especially evident in Trèpure’s baby wipes and natural deodorant wipes, which customers across multiple generations now use. Today’s consumers are more informed than ever before. They research ingredients, compare formulations and expect brands to explain what goes into every product openly. Rather than viewing this as a challenge, Turley embraced it from the very beginning. That openness has become one of the brand’s defining characteristics, helping it earn both industry recognition and growing international attention.

Among its milestones are winning Newcomer Brand of the Year at Beautyworld Middle East and successfully launching on QVC USA, introducing Trèpure to a much wider audience.

Personal Favourites

Choosing a favourite product isn’t easy for someone who has spent years developing an entire collection. Still, Turley admits the Botanical Hyaluronic Toner Wipes remain especially meaningful because they were created to solve a problem she personally experienced—wanting an effective skincare refresh without committing to an extensive routine.

She is equally proud of the Natural Deodorant Wipes, particularly the Gardenia Santal & Vetiver fragrance. “Creating a natural deodorant that actually performs well is incredibly difficult,” she said. “I think we finally got it right.”

At the heart of Trèpure lies a philosophy that extends beyond beauty. It is about responsibility—to families, to consumers and to the environment. Every formulation avoids parabens, sulfates and triclosan, ingredients Turley believes have no place in products designed for daily use.

Product safety isn’t treated as an afterthought or a marketing promise. Instead, it shapes every decision from the earliest stages of development. “We always begin with the most sensitive user,” she explained. “If a formulation is gentle enough for a baby’s skin, then it’s suitable for everyone else too.”

For Turley, that commitment isn’t simply part of the brand story. It is the foundation upon which Trèpure was built. As consumers continue demanding greater honesty from the brands they support, Trèpure represents a new generation of beauty companies—ones that believe transparency isn’t optional, sustainability isn’t a trend, and trust is earned one ingredient at a time.
