Personalised fitness solutions for healthier, balanced living
With sedentary lifestyles on the rise, staying active in the UAE can be a challenge—but Fit4It is changing the game with a customised, results-driven approach to wellness. According to the World Health Organization, nearly 58 per cent of adults in the country don’t get enough physical activity, often due to time constraints, lack of motivation, or environmental factors. Fit4It aims to remove these obstacles by offering a well-rounded programme that blends fitness, nutrition, and mindfulness into a routine that fits seamlessly into people’s lives.
Leading the charge is Mena Adel, a former boxing champion turned expert coach, whose dedication to helping others build healthier habits forms the core of Fit4It’s philosophy. We spoke with Mena Adel to explore the inspiration behind Fit4It, how his approach sets it apart, and why he believes fitness should be accessible, adaptable, and built to last.
Tailored Fitness Solutions
Many fitness programmes claim to offer personalised plans, but Fit4It goes a step further with its holistic approach. When ensuring that customisation remains practical and scalable for a growing client base, Adel strongly believes that any good business is built on the foundation of human relationships.
“We are proud to say that we are winning new clients every day. We keep human connection at the core of our business and the snowball effect of winning new clients has been amazing,” he said.
To ensure that Fit4It scales as a business, collaboration with experts, from specialists across different activities including Pilates and yoga to nutritionists and therapists ensures the most comprehensive programme is delivered. As Fit4It is growing rapidly, other health and wellness specialists in their field have been employed.
Market Challenges
With physical inactivity being a significant issue in the UAE, Adel has had to implement certain strategies to position Fit4It as a solution for both individuals and organisations seeking wellness.
Adel concedes that life can take its toll but wants to remind everyone that fitness can be accessible and adaptable and fit into the busiest of schedules—even 20 minutes is better than none.
“We offer both individual and corporate packages. Just like our individual packages our corporate packages will have a good degree of variation. For instance, we have witnessed that some corporate employees deal with a high level of stress in their day jobs. To combat that we use a variety of techniques including as diverse as stress-busting boxing sessions and on the other end of the spectrum, holistic therapies such as breathwork and meditation. Other companies might need a degree of rapport building and we can offer fitness-based solutions through team-building progressive programmes,” he said.
Given the rise of workplace wellness programmes, Adel has explored partnerships with UAE-based corporations to offer Fit4It’s services as part of employee benefits. Having launched in November 2024, goals include being able to claim Fit4It’s services as part of an employee benefit scheme because there is documented evidence of productivity with a healthier and happier workforce.
“As a company, it’s easy for me to say that we would love to engage and inspire corporates, but I think a core part of our DNA is that we want to inspire people to work out for themselves. Fitness is a personal choice and before we pass the baton to the incredible corporates across the country, people must take responsibility for their own health. Until an individual has that inner compass or warning bells that something needs a shift, no company, partner or parent can force that upon them. That’s also why a psychological session is part of Fit4It – mental and physical health are tightly intertwined,” said Adel.
Data-Driven Insights
Success is dependent on a client’s or corporation’s goal, so measuring it and leveraging the data allows Adel and his team to refine their offerings for better outcomes.
“For an individual whether the goal is weight loss, stress reduction or to reduce pain, the metrics about how we measure this will differ. Progress tracking, which includes regular fitness assessments and data analysis, is a cornerstone of the program. The team also relies on qualitative insights from clients to fine-tune strategies. These data points inform future program enhancements, ensuring that Fit4It remains at the forefront of delivering measurable wellness benefits,” he added.
Looking ahead, expansion is a natural step forward for Fit4It. The team envisions bringing its tailored, holistic approach to a wider audience regionally as well. Fit4It’s commitment to individualised care and wellness will remain steadfast.
