Peruvian Culinary Oasis Jato Launches in Dubai

The newly opened restaurant dazzles Dubai with flavours, skyline views, and elegance

Jato, a Peruvian-inspired restaurant, bar, and lounge, has opened on the 43rd floor of Media One Tower in Dubai, offering panoramic views of the Palm Jumeirah, Sheikh Zayed Road, and the surrounding skyline. The venue aims to combine elevated dining with a vibrant nightlife experience.

The menu is crafted by chef John Evans, who draws on his experience living and working in Lima to present innovative Peruvian dishes using authentic ingredients. Evans is joined by chef Ivan Noceda, who brings expertise from his tenure at a three-Michelin-starred restaurant. Signature dishes include the ceviche caratillo, a seafood blend with ginger, celery, and garlic, and the chuafa rice capon, a fried rice dish known for its distinct textures and flavours.

Jato features a dining area with floor-to-ceiling windows, offering natural light and sweeping views during the day, while the lounge and club areas come alive at night with music from a resident DJ. The décor incorporates golden leaf accents and distinct spaces for various dining and entertainment experiences, ranging from seated meals to cocktails and bar bites.

Seeking to position itself as a versatile venue, Jato caters to Dubai’s dynamic dining and nightlife scene.
